1. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING THE CAMP?
On Day 1 of Camp we will do an evaluation of your current fitness level. This will Push ups ( timed 1 minute ), Sit-ups ( 1 minute timed ) and a 1 mile run ( timed ). ( Evaluations change depending on your personal needs. )On the Very Last day of Camp another evaluation will be done so your progress can be measured. A measurement of Your Body fat/mass will also be completed.
On day two all the FUN begins!!! Over the next few weeks you will have fun, you will be challenged, and you will be sore. You can also look forward to becoming stronger, faster, leaner, and just plain TOUGHER!!
I will ask you to write down what you eat daily to better help you reach your personal goals.
2.WILL I BE YELLED AT?
Come to class ready to work and with a positive attitude. Don't expect to be yelled at at this Boot Camp...Only Positive encouragement here. you want to be yelled at....I hear the Army in always looking for good soldiers! :)
3.I have never worked out before can I sign up?
Fierce fitness workouts are challenging, but they can be scaled for ALL fitness levels. Our workouts are mainly time based, not repetition based.
You will be asked to work hard, but only you know your limits. Ultimately, you set your own pace.If you ever start to feel light-headed or dizzy, stop and let us know. We suggest that if you see a Physician before starting any workout program.
4.ARE THERE SEPERATE CLASSES FOR MEN AND WOMEN?
we currently only offer co-ed classes. Everyone will be respected in our classes. Anything can happen in the future!!
5.WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Bring a towel, a mat to lay on for our core phase, and water!! Staying hydrated is crucial for overall health, but even more so in our hot desert climate. STAY HYDRATED!!
6.HOW SHOULD I DRESS, WHAT DO I WEAR?
comfortable workout clothes ( something you don't mind getting dirty! ), and some good athletic shoes.
